2017 Zhejiang Hangzhou International Talents Exchanges and Project Cooperation Convention, Xihu District Sub-venue Activity, with the theme of “international talents start business and build common dream in the beautiful Westlake district” was held in Xixi Hotel on Nov. 10th. The Deputy Secretary of Xihu District Committee and the Head of the District Ying Liu, the Member of the Standing Committee and the Director of the Organization Department of Xihu District Committee Bo Shen, the Deputy Head of Xihu District Fang Li and relevant leaders of Hangzhou attended the meeting. Hangzhou International Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park (Xixi Park) was awarded the nameplate of the company on the site. Mengyue Chen, the Founding Partner and the President of Zheshang Venture Capital was invited to the awarding ceremony.
On the site of the activity, Xihu District officially released the “325” plan for new round introduction of excellent innovative and entrepreneurial talents from both home and abroad and sincerely invited talents from both home and abroad to gather at Westlake to achieve a wonderful success in career in the district. Xihu District will grant a maximum sum of RMB 10 million Yuan as start-up capital for the selected projects and incorporate foreign talents of non-Chinese origin as key supporting objects for innovation and entrepreneurship.
The district provided subsidiary for development of new enterprise, provided superposed support for the public offering, financing, the commercialization of research findings, established re-evaluation mechanism to avoid “judging an enterprise by single evaluation once and for all”
In addition, the district granted subsidiary for enterprises that introduced high-level talents and for venture capital enterprises and intermediary institutions that successfully recommended high-level talents.
The district helps talents to settle down. Qualified high-level talents have the priority of being arranged rental houses for talents or be granted a district-level subsidy of RMB 1 million Yuan for house purchase. Meanwhile, the district has built 449 talents apartments with fine decoration at Talent Garden in Zhijiang block.
In order to attract various kinds of international talents, especially the high-level foreign talents of non-Chinese origin. Xihu District is expediting the construction of Xihu District Hangzhou International Talent Entrepreneurship and Innovation Park, which is one of the three experimental parks in Hangzhou. By cooperating with Zhejiang University and Zheshang Venture Capital and building sub-park in Xixi Valley and Zijin crowd-sourcing town, the district tried to build a new type characteristic park integrated by international talents agglomeration, market-oriented management and operation, diversified capital aggregation and professional incubation and guidance.
